1996 Ford F150 XLT 4X4 with nearly all of its original factory paint and just 75,600 original miles

I purchased this beautiful F150 from a Ford dealership in northern Wisconsin, and it has clear title in my name. The dealership owner used this truck sparingly for the last 5-6 years, and it was purchased from Minnesota prior to their ownership. This truck’s condition inside and out speaks to the great care it’s received for the last 25 years. The factory Oxford White and Toreador Red paint has phenomenal gloss and is a gorgeous combination together. By 1996 Ford was using all clearcoat paints on the F150 lineup, and this paint has aged quite nicely. There is no clearcoat failure, and you can see this truck has been garaged since new by how nice the raingutter portions of the roof are in the photos. The videos show how well this truck drives and reflects the pampered life it has lived. Up here in Wisconsin and Minnesota, though, it’s tough to keep a 25 year old truck completely rust free. Both rear wheel wells have been previously repaired and are starting to lightly bubble again. That is the only body rust on this truck, though, and it proudly retains over 95% of its original, factory Ford paint. Because of the easy life this truck has had, note how gorgeous the glass, chrome, and trim are on this pickup…you WILL get compliments on this one.

The interior is again consistent with the care the owners have given this F150 over the years. This truck has not been smoked in, and has just a couple minor, superficial flaws…one 1/4″ flaw on the dashpad, and just a couple imperfections on the seat. Again, pickup trucks were meant to be used, so it’s so unusual to find low mileage examples that are this clean. Right now, the compressor cycles off and on. I am not terrific at diagnosing vehicle HVAC issues, so I just disclose what I see happening. It is possible that the system is low on refrigerant, but I am not sure of that.

The engine compartment again demonstrates this truck’s low mileage. The plating is bright, and you’ll be proud to open the hood on this truck. Note that there is a bit of rust on the core support next to the radiator. The bed of this pickup has a high quality Truxedo brand tonneau cover on it, which looks outstanding with the Oxford White paint. Notice the spray-in bedliner, too! The bedliner was likely installed very early on, and has some wear in areas. The undercarriage on this pickup is what my friends and I like to call “midwest clean.” Unless vehicles are stored in climate controlled buildings up here in Wisconsin and Minnesota, it can be tough to keep an undercarriage completely free of any rust. With that said, I think this truck will impress. The floors are almost completely rust free, and many components, like brake & fuel lines, look quite good. However, compared to trucks from down south and out west, you’ll see some scale on this frame, axles, and suspension.
